We are family owned breeders and live on 200 acres on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. We adhere to quality of breeding standards so that we can produce the best puppies possible. We are responsible breeders only breeding from x-rayed parents and take preventative measures to keep our dogs as healthy as possible, resulting in loving and intelligent pups, your best friend. Our dogs and pups are fed on high-quality food, maintaining a healthy weight, with regular check-ups. All our puppies are house reared, with careful methods in place for puppy selection for their new homes.
Ethical practices and the welfare of the puppies is our priority.
THE BREED
This famously low to the ground, long in the body and short of leg, active dog we know as the Dachshund, with the bold and confident personality has 2 sizes, standard or miniature and have 3 different coat types of smooth, wire and long coat and different colours and patterns. This strong, deep and long backed distinctive build with their keen nose makes them well suited to be an independant hunter making them brave and a bit stubborn.
They are not built for long distance running or leaping but are game for anything, smart and vigilant. Their nature and unique look makes them win millions of hearts around the world.

It's very important our puppies are regularly handed, preventing behaviour issues at those critical later weeks, resulting in helping them to approach new people to avoid startling them and cope with new skills and activities.
Toilet training, crate training, enrichment and interactive toys when they are at this physical capability level is part of their daily routine.
